Leader Tours are fully guided fly-and-drive journeys, designed for destinations where shipping vehicles or running full self-drive expeditions is impractical.
In these cases, we partner with trusted local providers and select vehicles specifically suited to the terrain and itinerary. Depending on the journey, this may include high-clearance 4×4 vehicles equipped with all-terrain tyres, recovery equipment, radios, and essential expedition gear.
Leader Tours offer a structured, professionally guided experience while still maintaining the spirit of exploration that defines Overex journeys.
Pioneer Tours are self-guided fly-and-drive journeys designed for travellers seeking independence with a lighter logistical footprint.
Typically lasting between 7 and 15 days, these tours avoid extreme remoteness and focus on accessibility, making them ideal for first-time overland travellers or those new to remote travel.
